Social Media Discussion
Over at the Septimatech blog, they’re opening up a discussion on how Social Media applies to this industry.
Used as a Marketing tool, social media can provide you direct access to packaging industry news, your customers, tips and tricks…whatever you’re looking for, trust me, you can find it. In a time where communication and relationships are driving more business than the look-at-me-I’m-the-best strategies of old, social media is a great platform to create and maintain those relationships. Not only that, it’s free! And during this ecomonic downturn (and looking towards the upswing) you can use social media as a tool to help position yourself for future growth.
I honestly feel that using Social Media for marketing is an incredibly difficult task, but it’s something we’re all going to have to figure out. Consumer driven companies have a clear path to reach their customers: If they identify themselves with your product, they will identify themselves with your social media presence. B2B Marketing is much trickier.
