<title>Infinity Wine Bottle Accummulator Featured in PWV Magazine</title>
<link>http://www.garvey.com/index.php?name=News&amp;file=article&amp;sid=75</link>
<description>The Garvey Infinity Accumulator is the feature story in this month's issue of Practical Winery and Vineyard, using Rodney Strong Vineyards as a case study in bottling unstable tapered bottles.

Three Garvey Infinity accumulation tables were installed to accumulate and single-file tapered bottles. Other accumulation systems, such as a bi-directional conveyor, cannot handle tapered bottles because they rely on back-pressure and right angle transfers to move bottles between conveyors. The Garvey Infinity accumulates and side transfers on a moving surface with zero back-pressure. &quot;You can't have more than about six to eight tapered bottles accumulate on a bi-directional conveyor or they start to fall,&quot; adds Jim Magness of Rodney Strong Vineyards. &quot;With the Infinity tables, the bottles do not back up.&quot;

Small vial handling and single filing have long been problematic in the pharmaceutical industry. Garvey Corporation’s new Infinity Series Rx accumulator/single filer solves this problem. Now even 2ml, 15mm “squeaky-clean” glass vials can be accumulated and single filed at rates of 800+ vials per minute. Vials are conveyed, accumulated and single filed with virtually no backpressure or jamming.
