In 1980 Fran Garvey invented the first conveyor based, low pressure buffer table:  The Bi Flo.  It’s great for accumulating,  single filing, and orienting all kinds of products. It uses two conveyors running in opposite directions to recirculate the product during downstream malfunctions. Changeover for various sizes is as simple as loosening up a few hand knobs and adjusting the opening to the downstream conveyor to fit that size.

When orientation and perfect First In First Out must be retained, a Serpentine Accumulation table provides accumulation by speeding up the product and creating a gap between products.  During downstream malfunctions, the products backup starting at the discharge point.  The buffer table is full when products have backed up on one another from the discharge all the way until the infeed.

Rotary accumulation tables provide low backpressure accumulation and single filing for pharmaceutical production lines at speeds of 250-300 / minute.  A buffer table can also be a great place to load trays of vials into the system.  If you need speeds higher than 300/minute, check out our Bi Flo or Infinity Rx tables.

The Quadra Flo Accumulation table is ideal for square and rectangular products where orientation must be maintained. This buffer table creates accumulation by pulling a gap between rows of product and backing them up in the discharge area.  The products are then transferred 90 degrees via a slide mechanism to the outfeed conveyor.

The Infinity Continuous Motion Laner is an ideal way to feed packers, palletizers, and sleevers. Our gentle method of putting the products into lanes will eliminate all the hassles of traditional laning devices: jams, breakage, label damage, etc.  Built right into the laner is our Infinity accumulation table, so any downtime on the packer won’t send a ripple effect upstream and impact your thruput.

Unscrambling flow wrapped products is a difficult task, but our 3D Infinity accumulation table can accomplish this with ease. Not only can it single file rectangular products, but it can also be used as a line splitter to feed a sleever in two lanes. It does this using our patented conveyor loop and product orientation slide. It works great with frozen trays, granola bars, snack cakes, etc. Like all of our Infinity buffer tables, it accumulates product to smooth out efficiencies between machine centers.
